Ok here we go, after 5 months, keeping me busy through winter id like to present a brand new campaign for Yuri's revenge. Written with the advice and help from McPwny and play tested by EggRollz, ive managed to put it all together and Mig Eater told me how that could be done, so credit to these individuals without who this Yuri campaign would be beyond my knowledge.
Have recently completed the first set of 6 missions; I can say they are pure class. Mission 5 where you have to escort the mcv recognizes old red alert 1 missions(soviet campaign level 10), and I especially loved the 6.mission as I can say it is a more exciting version of your old mission 'Identity crisis'.
pardon me, this might seem a bit newbish, but how exactly would I slow down the sound and video acceleration? also on yuri's revenge, i have a main executable error when the game is installed and updated. I changed the combatibility of the main game executable to Win 98 and that works but it gets stuck at the loading screen. any suggestions?
i have a diffrent problem..... I install the disc and everythings fine..... It will load the autorun and when i press play it will show red alert 2 and my disc drive will just stop working. every other disc works fine so its not the drive..... P.S. i have downloaded the patch and i've tried the compatibility thing. can someone help me?
If you can find the .exe files then there is something you can do to get them working. I have the complete red alert collection on Origin and i couldn't play them as well. I found this article that shows you how to set up the compatibility settings for the .exe files that should get them running again. I haven't tried to play mine in the last few months what with work getting in the way but the fix should still work okay.
