Just started modeling One Pensacola Plaza (Bank of Pensacola Bldg)

I got the base done, and have sent a message to the management of the
building to see if they'd like to give me some additional
info...hopefully they cooperate ;)

Cool, I've started working on the Blount Building on the corner of palafox and garden streets, including the all the adjoining buildings down palafox to romano st and down garden to baylen st.

Are you doing them as individual buildings or will they be separate?  I was wondering how that would be done...I read somewhere that buildings that were adjoined should be separate with an untextured wall where they join...something like that.

I'm building it as one building right now and haven't decided if I'm going to seperate them or not.  I've seen models in other cities (a few right in mobile,al) that are full blocks but I also read where it says that about using untextured walls.  I may keep the buildings down palafox as one model because they all share an awning along the store fronts, but separate the buildings on garden st.

Update on One Pensacola Plaza. I've finished the model. I spoke with
the building manager, and after several emails she gave me some
floorplans...That coupled with some photo references I took I managed
to extrude a proper height. I went there this morning to take some
photos for texture purposes, and one of the maintenance men came out
to "question me" because I was photographing the building. I told him
I spoke with the building manager, and she was aware of all of this,
and he took me up to the roof to get some closeups of the Coastal Bank
and Trust sign on top of the building. So this building is probably
going to end up being stunning ;)

Cool! That sounds great, I can't wait to see how it turns out. I've
still been working on the Blount Bldgs and adjoining bldgs, just
haven't had much time lately to finish it up.

out when ya get a chance! I didn't get to devote nearly as much time
to is as I wanted, but I can at least call it done.

One Pensacola Plaza looks really good, I uploaded the block at the
corner of Garden and Palafox as seperate models. I actually uploaded
it as one model at first but was notified that it needed to be
separated, no big deal. I've also started modelling the Wachovia Bank
building downtown at the corner of Garden and Jefferson.
