I asked Pennytel to activate MMS on my sim card 10 days ago. I have
set up an extra APN for MMS following the generic settings for
Optus.

Name: MMS
APN: mms
Proxy: Not Set
Port: Not Set
User name: Not Set
Password: Not Set
Server: Not Set
MMSC: http://mmsc.optus.com.au:8002/
MMS proxy: 61.88.190.10 (have also tried padding with leading zeros,
061.088.190.010)
MMS port: 8070
MCC: 505
MNC: 02
Authentication type: PAP
APN type: mms

I cannot send or receive MMS messages using the android messaging app.

I am wondering if the Android app could be interfering with MMS
messages, any ideas?

Is anyone else successfully sendng and recieiving MMS with Pennytel on
an Android phone?

In the list of APNs, the normal interent APN has a green dot next to
it to indicate that it is being used. The MMS APN does not have any
dot next to it, should there be any indicator

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S with Android 2.2 (baseband version
I9000DXJPB)

Cheers
Justin

I have the same problem.

Did you ever find a solution to this issue?

Thanks,

Patrick

I am not sure my app could be braking mms but if that was te case it should pop up and let you choose between my app and the default app when sending mms.  Guess you could uninstall my app and test then reinstall.
