This weekend marks an important early event in the history of Penny University - we have hit 100 community members. Congratulations, if you are reading this email, then you are an early adopter!

But along with our rapid growth has come some growing pains. Occasionally the digest emails are too long to comfortably read, and members are missing out Penny Chats that might interest them. In response we are trying something new: Introducing the Penny University Slack Team - join the slack team here. (That link is valid for 1 week.)

Because of our growing pains, I'm also going to make a very unusual request of you: DO NOT INVITE NEW PEOPLE! Yep, you heard me correctly. We want to make sure that we have a stable and usable infrastructure in place so that when we do the next big membership drive (a few weeks from now) that it will continue to be a good experience for everyone.

"What should we do in the meantime?"

Why, I'm glad you asked! It's time to set up your first Penny Chat. With roughly 1/3 of our members also signed up as teachers, there are plenty of people that can help teach you something new. So go now, find an interesting topic in the Penny University Directory, reach out to the individual, and set up a time to meet. (You should also consider signing up to teach.)

That's it! Now go out and LEARN and TEACH!
