PENNSYLVANIA STATE BOWLING ASSN SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ANNOUNCEMENT
Pennsylvania State Bowling Association
The PSBA awarded its first two scholarships in 1997 with a modest $500 per scholarship. The number of scholarships and the amount per scholarship has increased thanks to the generosity of the Pennsylvania bowlers and bowling associations. We are proud to announce that the PSBA is continuing this fine program and will be awarding four (4) scholarships worth $1500 each for the 2013-14 academic year.
It is our goal to maintain or build upon the number of applicants this year. Please encourage your graduating seniors to take the time to complete the application.
The PSBA Scholarship Fund is recognized by the IRS as an exempt charitable organization. Contributions to this fund are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated. Contributions may be sent to PSBA Scholarship Fund, % Corey Wert, Scholarship Trust Treasurer, 242 S.Thomas St., Beavertown, Pa. 17813
The applicants are to send their completed applications to the Scholarship
Committee secretary postmarked by March 1, 2014. The winners are selected later and will be
notified soon thereafter. Scholarship
winners will be recognized at the annual convention. One-half of the scholarship is awarded by
September 25th and the other half is awarded by January 31st,
provided all requirements are met.
