he PSBA offers scholarships to high school seniors
The number of scholarships and the amount per scholarship has increased thanks to the generosity of the Pennsylvania bowlers and bowling associations. We are proud to announce that the PSBA is continuing this fine program and will be awarding four (4) scholarships worth $1500 each for the 2013-14 academic year.
TO BE ELIGIBLE: The applicant must meet the guidelines and requirements as follows:
1. Participate in an organized bowling program (USBC Youth, or USBC league) in Pennsylvania.
2. Be a graduate of or a graduating senior from a recognized secondary school with a minimum 2.0 QPA for grades 9-12 (first semester) with the intent to enter a post-high school institution of higher learning.
3. Write a brief autobiography and state your personal qualifications including bowling and non-bowling activities, offices held, etc. (see page 2 of the application).
4. Provide an official high school transcript for grades 9-12 (first semester) with the completed application by March 1, 2014.
The PSBA Scholarship Fund is recognized by the IRS as an exempt charitable organization. Contributions to this fund are tax deductible and are greatly appreciated. Contributions may be sent to PSBA Scholarship Fund, % Corey Wert , 242 S Thomas St Beavertown, Pa 17813
