Biology research opp for freshmen/sophomores

Hola,

I hope this fine Monday morning is treating everyone well! 

I just wanted to see if any freshmen or sophomores might be looking to get into a research lab next year (fall 2017). I know it's a little early to be planning, but I know of a lab in the med school that will have spots opening. The grad student you'd be working with is a nice guy, and you'd get to learn how to work with CRISPR/CAS9 which, as the bio nerds know, is one of the hottest techniques in the field right now. 

I'm not guaranteeing a spot, but I can pass along info of those who are interested. (And I think your odds are pretty good compared to cold emailing PI's in the fall, like most people do.)
