Good afternoon Penn State Maryland Alumni,
Hope everyone is doing well. My name is Rob Roselli. I am a 2013 graduate of Penn State, and work in Athletics Marketing. One of the teams I work with is Penn State Men’s Soccer, this year rebranded as Penn State Futbol.
As you may or may not know, we are now ranked in the Top 5 in the country. We expect to jump to #2 tomorrow when the rankings come out for the week.
On Sunday, October 12, we play at Maryland, traditionally known as a Soccer powerhouse. We’re bringing along students (around 50) on a bus to the game.
I think it’d be pretty neat, and would show the power of the Penn State Community, if some of your local alums could make it out to College Park on Sunday October 12 to meet our students, our team, coaches, and cheer on the #2 Nittany Lions.
I’m not sure where all of your chapters are located, so I do understand if some of you are not close enough to make such a trip. I just wanted to reach out to all of the Maryland chapters to present this idea.
I look forward to hearing from you and hopefully seeing some of you on Sunday.
