Hi All,
Just to recap what we discussed last week, we went over most of the R
basics needed to futz your way through the language. The notes from
that week are here:

This week, we'll be meeting Tomorrow, Thursday, at 12:30 in the large
conference room.
First, we'll be finishing up our discussion of factors from last week.
I know I said I was going to be strict about keeping last week's
discussion to only one week, but understanding how factors work, and
how to appropriately manipulate them is very important.
From there, we'll move to useful data aggregation and summarization
techniques, focusing on the plyr package. If anyone wants to get a
jump on things, I would highly suggest reading over the plyr
documentation. It's well written :

We'll also talk about writing our own R functions, specifically for
use with plyr functions.
See you there!
