As a side note on storing and preserving data, do you know how much
data was lost when the Library of Alexandria burned down, plunging the
West into the dark ages? I estimated it once to be about 30~60 GB. We
could all lose 60 gigs real easy. Don't let the dark ages happen to
you!
This week, we'll be meeting at the same time (12:30) at the same place
(the Fishbowl). The focus of this week will be some R basics, for
those who haven't programmed in R, or would like to brush up. I've
actually already uploaded the notes, which are basically a mashup of
Weeks 1 and 2 of the last study group:
