QUOTE OF THE WEEK

Bhagavad Gita: Chapter 15 Verse 16

In the fourteen universal systems there are only two conscious principles; the perishable and the imperishable; all moving and stationary living entities are declared perishable and those perfected internally as imperishable.

THANK YOU from HSC/YJA!

The Penn Hindu Student Council & Young Jains of America would like to sincerely thank all of you for your support and enthusiasm at our events this past school year. Without your comitment to HSC/YJA, we would not be able to organize events such as Sunday Pujas, Hindu Jain Awareness Week, Garba, and all the other Hindu/Jain programming that occurs during the year. We hope that you stay asdedicated to our organization for many years to come and we look forward to getting back to work in the fall!

Summer HSC Camp: May 23 - May 26

For over two decades, HSC Camp continues to be one of the top Hindu university-level summer retreats across the US. We are dedicated to engaging with the changing face of Hinduism in the US, and letting all voices be heard. We continue to be a space where undergraduates, graduates, and young professionals find a welcoming and enjoyable place to share their experiences and grow together.

Camp this year will be held again at Vraj Mandir, a beautiful temple grounds in Eastern Pennsylvania located at 15 Manor Rd, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972. This environment will allow students an opportunity to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with the things that feed our inner world. We will be in the company of well-known Hindu professors and writers for our discussions, however there will also be opportunities to discuss these ideas from a purely youth perspective.

HSC camp is an opportunity for you to socialize, learn, and synthesize with Hindu youth from all over the US, and break out of your campus or home bubble! It is an amazing weekend where attendees participate in debates and discussions, and also enjoy various activities, games, and competitions.

We hope that you can join us on this wonderful weekend where friendships deep-rooted in spiritual connectedness will be created, and where learning will happen in the novel setting that only HSC Camp can provide!
