Macy's Black History Month Chef Meet and Greet

​Who: 

Join Macy's as we salute Black art, expression, and culture with Marcus Samuelsson! Guests will enjoy an inspiring conversation on how creative self-expression and a strong connection to heritage have shaped his career, hosted by Kelly Lee, Chief Cultural Officer of Philadelphia.

Samuelsson will be sharing stories and recipes from his new book, The Red Rooster Cookbook,which details his cultural experiences in the heart of Harlem.

: Immediately following the discussion, guests will be treated to a special reception where they will have the opportunity to meet and mingle with Chef Marcus Samuelsson and indulge in light refreshments. A musical performance will be provided by Harlem Based Band,The Rakiem Walker Project as well as poetry by the Founder of the Black Writers Museum in Philadelphia, Supreme Dow.
