Hi,

The event today went well. From 10:30 to 2:00, we read the names of the soldiers who had been killed in the war. The students also gave a good presentation from 12:05 to almost 1 after five minutes of silence.

About eight staff people and seven students participated in the reading and held strong when it started raining in the last hour. One student gave us special thanks - her brother had been killed in 2005. We met also PFSAWI and Penn Against War members who joined us as moral support.

I hope other participants will send a note and give their impressions. I want to give thanks to the Penn Women's Center and the Christian Association for their assistance.

- Sharon
