Hi,

Bill has sent out an appeal to help fund IVAW members’ trip to Washington. I think this is a great idea.

We can start with fundraising for Penn members and alumni. Is anyone going to this event in March?

Do you have fundraising ideas? Nothing fancy – house parties are good.

If you, or your group, have access to serious cash money, IVAW needs benefactors to sponsor one of HUNDREDS of IVAW members' trip expenses to Washington, DC, for the weekend of 13-15 March, 2008 Iraq Veterans Against the War will assemble history's largest gathering of US veterans of Iraq and Afghanistan , as well as Iraqi and Afghan survivors. They will testify to their first hand experiences and reveal the truth of occupation. It'll be based on what we VVAW members did in Jan-Feb 1971, but it should get much better publicity and coverage than what we got. THIS IS $$$ WELL SPENT !
