I have a Dialogue Flybook v33i with linux gentoo installed (Sabayon).
Everything works correctly except touchscreen.
First of all i used penmountlpc distributed with kernel 2.6.25 and
xf86-evtouch, I dmesged that pen was recognized on /dev/input/event8.
I started Xorg configuring it as described in instructions but i
noticed spurious clicks and doblecliks while using pen, rending it
unusable. I am not a driver expert so I waited till august when a new
driver was released.

I compiled and installed the new driver and sporious clicks went away
but i noticed that no event was generated when i moved the pen
touching it all the time.
I examined the events generated using evttest /dev/input/event8.

Am I doing something wrong? Is there something I do not understand o
there is someone who can help me?

I am a programmer but not a driver writer.

Thank you

Hi I have the same problem with my v33i.
My linux is a Slackware 12.1.0 but I'm experiencing
the same behaviour as you. Look also at

I think that is the same again

I hope someone could help us

Bye
