Ifyou empty your energy, turn off your auto attack, and then hit this macro, your character will just stand there. Therefor, this macro accomplishes nothing over what the ability straight out of your spellbook already does in the current version of WoW Classic.
Yes this is not working anymore, please tell us if this is a bug or intended change. If it is an intended change is there some other way to switch autohunting on and off by using a command or not? Thank you
So why did you make it possible to auto sing/dance? So they can just run out of MP stacking songs and dances? Not useful at all if you can't wait for all previous skills to drop before rebuffing, it just keeps eating MP. Using a macro with a delay is still more useful, so what was the point of adding new function?
Hey all is there a thread or instruction guide provided by NCSOFT on the Autohunt feature? How to use it etc. Classic has had two systems, the one thats the same as live, and then the one that they "upgraded us to" but provided no instructions on how to use it.
Would this be allowed, in the way that I make the macro only active WHILE THE KEY IS HELD. There are some skills like the Mortar toolkit's 1 skill is locked from autoattack (I assume because it's a ground targeting skill so it wouldn't be very effective to make it auto). My only use for this is to just keep firing the Mortar's 1 skill while I have a key held down and stop firing when it's no longer held. The general policy says no more than one action per key press so this might not be allowed? It would solely only make up for the fact of a skill not being an autoattack but I would not like to risk an account ban over it :(
They won't ban you for automating some mindless action.
They whisper you first to check if you're afk farming anyway, and only after someone reports you (tbh i'm not even sure they do that regularly with all the afk farmers around).
I would just like to ask around first before trying something like this, in case someone could have been banned or warned about it. Plus you can't really afk in the Labyrinth because Steve will show up and saw you in half ?
They said it's ok to use autocliker for consuming stacks of items, macros (one key press results in hundreds of automated ones) for playing music on in game instruments were also given the green light. What you're trying to do falls under those categories I'd say, a menial task you want to automate.
They don't ban people for no reason. You'd have to do match manipulation in ranked play, use bots that take control over your character (botting), or make use of some serious exploits like item duping - those are the confirmed permanent bans I heard about.
Everything else I know of are suspensions that lasted a few days - afk farmers get those sometimes from what I understood.

People interpret things differently but it's a fact Anet doesn't punish or ban people for dumb reasons.
I think they include Bell Choir because you get rewards the further you get and it involves pressing more than one key. Like your entire bar is replaced with note skills for the event. So using a macro for that would be a massive no-no in of itself.

It would still depend on their definition of a skill chain. If more than one key was in this chain, even if it was like 10 autos then one other skill and back to the 10 autos, that could easily be seen as having more than one action per macro. Though if they were to define skill chains as any more than one activation per press, then it would not allow what I'm attempting. Plus I don't know about you, but I really don't see the Labyrinth having any competitive nature to it, or any other open world activity to which I would just click normally anyways. My macro would just exist to not wear my mouse/keyboard into dust and get arthritis in the process of a mindless and very temporary farm ?
I would understand if I were to swap kits or weapons while using the macro, but most if not all of the time I'm staying in mortar. Any other time is flamethrower but that can just be held down and can be auto'd.
Well, the left click for auto attack is action mode, and the instant ground targeting is the only one that don't require 2 input, making it work like every other auto attack, and so the looping can work. That's why you need that, I guess, ground targeting auto are annoying.
No. Sort of. You can autocast only one power, by default with Ctrl+LClick (it sounds like you already know this). I'm personally in favor of more autocasts being available but a fair bit of the community believes it would be too much like botting.
Specifically, anyone who's ever tried to manage Hasten and Shield Defence/Ninjitsu/Superflexes. Clicky mez protection that really needs to be on auto, and hasten, which, again, to be effective, really needs to be on auto.
That bind sets Healing Aura to auto-fire (like jack said, you can do the same with ctrl-click), then it starts to actually fire Healing Aura, then it cancels Healing Aura. You would get 100% the same effect with just:
So if this is really about eliminating "maintenance clicks" I would support this if the additional auto-clicks could only be applied to powers that only affect you. Maybe you get one for an attack, but if you ctrl+click another attack, the first one loses it. But as a SS MA/SR Scrapper, I could have Practiced Brawler, Focus Chi, and Hasten all auto-click.
/bind [key] "powexec_toggleon [second power]$$powexec_toggleon [first power]" only evaluates powers that are in an "off state" and ignores powers that are firing or in cooldown. So for this bind, it will go to the last power in the command that is off (not in cooldown or firing). So the 2nd power being last will fire. When pressed again, now that the 2nd power is on cooldown it will fire the first power.
Might be worth it with Incarnate. As for linking it with click attacks, that could be really tricky in actual practice if you have an attack chain where some powers setup others. Might be with a try, though.
If you do this for two powers, and bind all of your movement keys (WASD and Space Bar) with that bind, then you will effectively have those two powers run almost as auto whenever you move. And you could have a 3rd power as the basic auto-power.

I've tried to do /startattack /cast spell macros but the autoattack only starts after the ability ends. This bothers me more than it should cause i have to right click every single target if i dont want to miss that juicy marking targets proc. So far i've tried
The exclamation mark is where all the magic happens, it makes sure that Auto Shot can only be turned on, but not turned off. Kinda the same thing we used to do with our Aspects when stancedancing in Cataclysm / MoP.
Hey, thanks! Your macro actually works for Barrage in the form you posted, but e.g. does not work if I use the conditional for barrage/AMoC and doesn't proc marking targets istantly as i hoped if you open with sidewinders (which you shouldn't anyways,but that's not the problem..)
Have you been able to fix them too?
(Little edit: Not like a macro is needed for AMoC with it being instant and the auto being off the GCD but would have been nice to have the same button on the bar) (I'm stil trying in dummies with !Auto attack and not getting the insta proc of marking targets on the targets regardless of the distance)
Glad we figured it out :) Both macros are actually pretty useful and should be used by default by everyone, so props to you for coming up with the idea. I'll see if Azor would be willing to include them into his Hunter guide.
