1. We had a great turnout of more than 20 people. We started by having lunch together with many varieties of food prepared by the host and brought by members and guests.
2. We began the meeting by thanking Allah for allowing us to meet again. Hasnah gave an introduction about the Ladies Qur’an Club to the visiting guests.
3. We read the English translation of surah Yusuf (Chapter 12, Joseph, page 165-174 in NJ Dawood’s “The Koran”) followed by listening to the Arabic reading of the surah by Syeikh Misyari Rashid.
4. We ended the meeting at ~5.00 pm and celebrated Mak cik Hazizah’s birthday. Thank you to Lizah, Nora and Azmi for bringing the lovely birthday cake.
5. We thank Allah for another spiritually refreshing meeting and we thank Hawa, Azman and the Samat family for hosting the meeting. Thank you all for participating and contributing to the meeting. Jazakallahu khayran (May Allah reward you).
6. Eva Mergener volunteered to host the next meeting on July 31, 2010 at her home in Westminster, CA.
