Thereare parts packs, which can be used with either Spore or Spore Creature Creator. Parts Packs include new body parts for creatures in the Creature Creator, as well as paint scripts, preview animations, and test drive backgrounds. The only purchasable Parts Pack is Spore Creepy & Cute. Expansion Packs (not to be confused with Parts Packs) increase gameplay depth, adds new features like creators and stages (not in the current ones). Expansion Packs can only be played with the original game or the special box (same game, just with extras in the box). The only expansion pack is Spore Galactic Adventures.

Spore Galactic Adventures adds great features to the Space Stage, including beaming your creature down onto a planet to play adventures, the ability to create adventures, collect rewards and much more. It also adds one detail paint for creatures and new Patch 1.04. It was released on June 23, 2009, in the United States and was released on June 26, 2009, in Europe.

Bots Part Pack is a limited-edition add-on that adds 14 new cybernetic parts to the Creature Creator. The code that will unlock the content can only be found on specially marked Dr. Pepper bottles in the United States. This was announced on the Sporepedia on January 5th, 2010. The promotion was originally going to end on December 31, 2010, but was extended to January 31st, 2012. If one would like to play it today, they would have to download the files online (unofficial).

Yes, they can! The preset files that will come with the download are .xmp files, which are used on Lightroom Classic. In order to use them on Lightroom Mobile, there are a few different options. You can find videos online for how to import xml files into Lightroom Mobile, but I've found it easiest to convert them to .dng files online for free.

The LUTs are .cube files, which can be used with any video editing software. I use Adobe Premiere Pro, and Davinci Resolve, but they're compatible with any video editing software. I also include conversion LUTs for Sony and Canon Log Video formats in the files. The LUTs can be used with any camera or picture profile, after the right adjustments.

Also, cell lines that are repeatedly cultured weaken over time, a phenomenon known as cellular senescence. Yes, mycelium eventually grows old and its performance suffers! Spores are far more stable. The anatomy of a spore evolved to withstand incredible variations in temperature, humidity, light, radiation, pressure, etc. Mushroom spores can remain in a state of suspended animation for decades until the right conditions are introduced that inspire them to come alive.

Another concern is the nutrient-rich liquid the cultures are grown in. This also provides an ideal habitat for bacteria and other fungi to flourish. Liquid cultures are prone to contamination, and unfortunately without intense quality control there is no way for a producer to know an entire batch has been compromised until it is too late.

This letter very clearly states that the spores of Psilocybe species are fully legal, while the legality of the liquid cultures of these species is more uncertain. This uncertainty should provoke caution with customers purchasing material from suppliers who offer legally questionable material, as it may put their personal information at risk, should these suppliers find themselves at odds with regulatory agencies.

Because we believe in the superiority of our spore-based products, and we endeavor to not put our customers in the way of any legal peril by purchasing our products, we will continue to offer spores for microscopy, just as we have been for over 25 years.
