Multi-segment connector or multi-segment line

First of all, this is a great tool and I used it a lot to to develop software mock-ups and workflow. However, I have to say that the multi-segment tool is really so bad compared to other free tools, like Dia. I'm not sure if there is a better way to draw 2-segment path between to processes (or any other elements), but these are my methods (still bad methods though):

1. Method 1:

- Add a Straight Connector and connect one of its end to the first process, remove the arrow on this connector

- Add a Multi-segment Connector and connect one of its end to the second process

- Now the important part: drag the other end of Multi-segment Connector and connect it to the other end of the Straight Connector

- (Optional) Select both Straight Connector and Multi-segment Connector, right click on them and select "Group"

2. Method 2:

- Add a Straight Connector and connect one of its end to the first process, remove the arrow on this connector

- Add a Multi-segment Connector and connect one of its end to the second process

- Add a connectPoint, the connect the remaining ends of Straight Connector and Multi-segment Connector to this connectPoint

- (Optional) Select connectPoint, Straight Connector, and Multi-segment Connector, then right click on them and select "Group"

- (Optional) You may want to hide the connectPoint by changing its color
