The pencil consistency check provides about the only security that a
simulation is set up properly. However, the test fails both for
most-modules and for 1d-tests/solar-atmosphere.
Both these samples use eos_ionization for equation of state.
The problem is that every time df is calculated with a new combination of
pencils, the results change, no matter which pencils have been flipped.

This is about the _random_ pencil check, yes?
Yes, it seems so. I think it is perfectly acceptable that some tests do not
like to
get random numbers in their pencils. So maybe this bug is resolved?
