Dear all,
as you may be aware, we have been working on a new version of the Pelagios API. This work has been progressing, and the "machine-readable" side of our new API is now starting to become reasonably complete [1]. The UI [2] is still very much work in progress, I'm afraid, and doesn't yet expose much of the functionality that's available under the hood. But I'm working on it whenever there's some time to spare in between the usual Pelagios 3 project madness ;-)
We already migrated our first datasets over from the old API (a big thanks to Ethan and Frank in particular!) and added a few new ones, too [3]. Along with the API, we've also updated our cookbook instructions [4] on how to publish "Pelagios Open Data". We would now like to continue the migration process, step by step. So this E-Mail also serves as a warning that I may be in touch with you personally about this issue soon-ish! In the meantime, we invite everyone to take a look & let us hear your thoughts.
Cheers,
Rainer
