Photovoltaic (PV) System Safety Course – Solar Panel Safety
The Prince Edward Island Fire School is offering Solar Panel Safety Course to all Fire Departments across Prince Edward Island. Objectives of this training will be:
TR 506 - $136.80 + HST – Per Member (This is a non-certificate course)
The course time is (4) hours and held at PEI Fire School.
Photovoltaic (PV) System Safety Course – Solar Panel Safety
The Prince Edward Island Fire School is offering Solar Panel Safety Course to all Fire Departments across Prince Edward Island. Objectives of this training will be:
- Understand how photovoltaic systems operate.
- Recognize the components of photovoltaic systems.
- Describe the steps required to safely shut down photovoltaic systems.
- Recognize the hazards of photovoltaic systems.
- Understand the effectiveness of fire fighter PPE at PV system incidents.
- Describe tactical considerations for photovoltaic systems.
TR 506 - $136.80 + HST – Per Member (This is a non-certificate course)
