Mr. Google, it looks like my father is wondering a little about whats going on in our family history.

You see this man came out of the blue an called him about two months ago this man,
 man said he said he was related to us an was doing a history report on the
 Somerford family name...

Looks like we came from Texas an went to CUBA, this Man on the phone told my Dad that my Grandfather had two uncles, both of his uncles an father introduced Cattle and Bee Keeping into CUBA back in the latter 1800s
i always wondered why we had a English last name.
 

Also it makes me wonder a little more why my Grandfather came back to the states through Texas an did so before he was ten years old
