Dad , I heard you fell down and needed stitches I wish I was there to hold you up.

 My mother passed away recently.

 But said so a few days before It has been a deeply painful time, made even harder by the fact that I was unable to be by her side at the end, due to complications with my travel arrangements and identification needed to bord the train ride home.

I loved my mother dearly, as we all did, and I believe it is important for us to support one another.
