Job Title: Sr. Pega Developer
Duration: 6+ Months
Location: Franklin Lake, NJ

Job Description:
Responsible for providing expertise on decisions and priorities
regarding the enterprise's Pega Developer. Provides inputs for Pega
Components in enterprise integrated systems planning. Leads the
development of the PRPC components and ensures adoption of design best
practices and class structure re-use.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develops long-term and future policies, standards and
guidelines that direct the design, development and implementation
using Pega across the enterprise.
• Implements PRPC solutions requiring integration of multiple
crosscutting, enterprise-wide platforms, operating systems and
applications to reduce costs and improve information flows. Ensures
maximum re-use of enterprise assets as wells as class structures and
rules within PRPC.
• Ensures all Pega projects align with the Pega Best practices,
business and IT strategies.
• Leads the research, evaluation and assessment of business
requirements using Pega Tools enterprise-wide technologies that could
improve current systems and technologies and support overall business
goals.
• Provides in-depth technical consultation and presentations to
the Board, Sr Management and IT management to ensure adoption of Best
Practices to develop efficient systems.
• Provides guidance to the Team on scalability of solutions,
architecture, and development opportunities for Pega in order to meet
business area objectives.
• Ensures adoption of design Best Practices, Class structure re-
use, Pega tools for Direct Capture Objective and Application Profiler,
provide staff enablement, guidance, testing strategy.
Experience:
• Two to four years experience building Business Process
Management solutions using Pega
• Two to five years experience in Object Oriented Programming
• Two years experience in building large J2EE Applications.
• three to five years experience leading technical design teams
• three to five years experience in communicating and presenting
technical information to non technical people
• Two years mentoring other Pega System Architects Knowledge,
Skills & Abilities:
• Ability to understand and vision how all parts fit together to
form the information technology framework and structure
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills; Ability to
explain complex technical issues to non-technical people that ensures
their understanding
• Interpersonal and leadership skills that demonstrate
collaboration, facilitation, influencing and negotiating; Ability to
manage conflict
• Comprehensive knowledge of hardware, software, application and
systems engineering; Knowledge of business for which the enterprise
architecture is being developed
• Knowledge of J2EE Applications, system architecture,
application servers, databases.
• Customer service orientation
Education:
Bachelor's or advanced degree in Computer Science or related field
Certification/License:
Lead System Architect Pega Certification
OR
Any combination of academic education, professional training or work
experience, which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of
the position.
