Adobe Illustrator,etc... would be a far better suggestion vs any product that Autodesk has.. all though some of the 3ds max programs,etc.. I suppose "could" be used to design clothes but I doubt that any of the Autodesk software is really prevalent in the fashion industry..
Hello @BenevolentAppearance unless you make your clothing as a sheet metal part to create a flat pattern for cutting out the fabric, you might find some difficulty using Inventor for clothing design.
Our program prepares you for entry-level occupations concerned with clothing and textiles services, including, but not limited to: construction, fabric design, fabric care, pattern design, principles of clothing construction and selection, fitting and alterations of ready-to-wear garments, custom tailoring, clothing maintenance, home furnishings, and textiles testing. Our program offers three options: a Career Certificate, a Technical Certificate, and an Associate of Applied Science Degree.
The degree plan provides the courses recommended for students seeking to transfer in this area of study. Students should consult the Mississippi Articulation Agreement for specific course requirements at specific Mississippi universities. Students can also use MATT (MS Articulation & Transfer Tool).
Emmy design is one of my favourites ever! Love how really vintage they look and how comfy the material is. It's not at all within my student budget, but I managed to find two dresses for 15 euros each, a jumpsuit for 40 euros and trousers for 10, because I was so lucky to have met someone who used to sell it and has worn these items once or twice for promotion. They are my go to items, love how they are not fragile like real vintage.
Creating your own custom-printed products makes it easier to showcase your artistic brilliance. You can make any occasion memorable with custom t-shirts, hoodies, and more with your choice of text, icon, logo, and image. From apparel to hats, there are hundreds of products to match your needs well. You can design clothes and style the way you like for daily fashion needs. So, get ready to show off your personalization techniques on apparel and accessories.
You must also remember that some placement discrepancies may occur in DTG printing. Because of the human involvement in the process, such discrepancies can't be ruled out. Though we ensure accurate placements while arranging the shirts on the printing pallet, human errors can still be there. So, we set aside a slight shift of the graphic between 0.5" and 2".
But if the placement discrepancies exceed the pre-defined norm, we would take it as a human error and exchange it at our expense. In such a case, we recommend to contact the customer support team (sup...@designhill.com) and share the photo of the product laid out on a flat surface and the design measured horizontally/vertically.
You're always advised to upload a high-resolution design for good quality printing. Make sure the design doesn't get blurred when uploaded. Your print files should be at least 150 DPI and at actual size. You can check the quality of your design by using DPI meter in the edit panel.
No, you have full copyright on your design; and hence, no one will ever reuse your design without your permission. However, if you want to sell your artwork, you can do that on the Designhill marketplace. For more information, please visit Sell Your Art section.
Screen Printing: We use it for bulk orders. If the order is for more than six pieces of garments, we print them using this technique. In this method of printing, only one color can be applied at a time which restricts the number of colors on a t shirt. Therefore, Screen printing method is widely used for a simple design that requires only one color, or when you've to print a large number of t-shirts of the same design.

Stepping into the unknown world of fashion, I am wary of adaptable apparel but eager to learn more about this domain where hope and doubt mingle. Come along with me on this fascinating adventure as I investigate the experiences of people with disabilities, questioning the established rules of fashion with a mix of pessimism and optimism. Let us discuss it one point at a time.
As estimated by the Adaptive Clothing Market Analysis Survey 2023, the world market for adaptive clothing was worth about US$13.6 billion in 2022. It is expected to grow even more, at a rate of about 5% CAGR by 2030. More and more, shoppers are looking for clothes that make them feel good about themselves, and this has prompted the fashion industry to create more accessible styles for individuals with impairments. Iconic fashion houses are clearly starting to notice this trend. Pioneers in inclusive fashion and practical solutions include Tommy Hilfiger's Adaptive Collection, Zappos Adaptive, Silvert's Adaptive Clothing & Footwear, and Izzy Camilleri's IZ Collection.
The Indian fashion industry is not so left behind. Millions of people in India live with some kind of disability, whether it's a visual, auditory, or cognitive impairment. I carefully watch the rise of adaptive clothing in the heart of India's urban fashion scene. I see a paradigm change in how we think about inclusion. Adaptive garments for the elderly, people with disabilities, and those experiencing post-operative dressing issues are the focus of Ekansh Trust's efforts to influence the mainstream clothing business in India. Also, inventive designers such as Delhi-based Shivan and Narresh, as well as Mumbai-based Nidhi Munim, were among the first to meet the unique demands of women who had mastectomy surgery by creating mastectomy blouses and swimwear, respectively.
The article highlights how the disabled community has criticized Nike for making the Go FlyEase shoe, which is advertised as an "accessible solution," not available to them. First Nike only made it accessible to selected few members and then conveniently skipped showcasing actual disabled people from their marketing campaign. If you really want to be inclusive, you should include people with disabilities in all steps of product design.
