Berserk doesn't have any official anime adaptations confirmed as of the writing of this video, so fan animators have taken matters into their own hands. The fan studio ARCHE has decided to continue where the 1997 anime series left off and imagine what Guts' journey might have looked like had it been renewed for a second season. Those thinking that the recently released pilot episode was the only entry in this fan project might be surprised to learn that the studio is committing to more installments in the near future.
The first Berserk anime adaptation ended on quite a dark note, as Guts and Casca were left shattered thanks to the events of the Eclipse. While the 1997 series began by showing the Black Swordsman following Griffith's betrayal, viewers were left hanging as it would be decades before Berserk would return with a new anime television series. Following the tragic passing of creator Kentaro Miura, the manga has continued thanks to the artist's friends who want to complete Berserk to honor their deceased colleague. Should an official Berserk anime adaptation be announced, there are more than a few stories from the manga that have yet to be brought to the small screen.
In a new "Question And Answer" session on YouTube, Studio ARCHE confirmed that they are working on new episodes of the unofficial second season of Berserk. At present, the fan studio will aim to release a new episode every three to four months, since that is how long it took for the pilot episode to be created.
This fan-made series, should it continue to follow the original manga, will cover many of the events that took place in the 2016 Berserk anime adaptation. While the CG-animated series did get two seasons, many anime fans felt that it was unable to live up to the art of Kentaro Miura. Berserk would return most recently thanks to the Berserk Memorial Edition series, but this anime adaptation took footage from the three films that told the story of the Golden Age Arc.

The term Berserk (暴走, Bōsō?) is used to describe the relic on one's body manifesting itself in much more powerful way. There is currently two ways to go berserk: A failed Ignite Module attempt, or being fused with a relic and their emotions exposed to severe negativity, which causes the relic to gain power and overload their body turning them into a mutant monster.
The first episode that featured a user going berserk was at the end Episode 1 in Season 1 where Hibiki's transformation had changed the way her body worked, turning it into an actual Symphogear system on the inside and overpowering her, causing her to go berserk. In Season 1 Episode 3, Hibiki's emotions had gone completely out of control, and caused the relic inside her to gain power. In Season 1, Episode 5, she went berserk once again due to being overwhelmed by the power of the complete Relic Durandal when she grabbed it. In Season 1, Episode 12, her grief at Chris dying and anger at Fin calling Chris's sacrifice worthless caused her to enter a full berserk mode. In Season 1, Episode 13, she briefly entered the berserk state again due to the Durandal's power, but hearing her friends calling out to her allowed her to overcome the berserk state. In Season 2, Episode 5, Hibiki started to flash from normal to berserk when preforming the S2CA Tri-Burst. In Season 2, Episode 6, the shock and pain of the Nephilim biting off Hibiki's arm caused her to instantly assume her berserk state one last time. The only other time a user went berserk was when Maria failed her Ignite Module in Season 3 Episode 7.
Once the person has fully gone berserk, she gains a huge power boost and defense upgrade and a speed boost which is beyond a normal candidate, also an intense lust for death. She seems to lose almost all grip on reality, with only one thought in her mind: "kill".
Sometimes going berserk can help out in a situation, but either way the results are almost always disastrous. For instance, when Hibiki went berserk at the beginning of Episode 12 of Season 1, she was able to fight Fin efficiently, but almost killed Tsubasa. Although, when she went berserk in G, she actually killed the Nephilim and gained her arm back, so not all was lost.
A berserk person's appearance is not unlike that of a monster. She gains red eyes, fangs, claws, and a dark red-black body. The person then proceeds to destroy whatever triggered the stage or the closest living thing.
