Alameda Legacy Home Tour Docents

If any of you are interested, the Alameda Legacy Home Tour is looking for costumed docents. Here's the information from Denise Brady:

Please join the Alameda Architectural Preservation Society on Sunday, September 17th for a fun filled and very historic occasion! The Alameda Legacy Home Tour is celebrating the 50th anniversary of the very first tour held in 1973. We have 7 wonderful vintage homes in the Gold Coast neighborhood and we need volunteers for the event. 

Docents placed inside the homes guide the patrons along from room to room. There are two shifts: morning 9:45 to 1:00, and afternoon 12:45 to 4. You will receive free admission to all of the houses which you can tour opposite your assigned shift. Following the tour you can attend the "thank you" dinner for the volunteers and homeowners at the Alameda Elks Lodge.
