The Celtic Tea Shoppe, Home of Artisan Candies, is excited to create a special afternoon tea menu just for the upcoming PEERS Alameda 1900: A Picnic in the Park on Saturday, August 5, 2023! We specialize in the cultural foods of Ireland, Scotland and England, and you can check us out for more information on our other products here at www.celticteashoppe.com.
The Menu and How it Works:
The tea boxes we create are full afternoon tea meals for one, and we have both meat and vegetarian options. Everything is neatly packed and nestled in a gabled paper box with a convenient handle for carrying. We will be at the picnic site starting at 10 am to hand out the pre-ordered boxes and stay until 11 am. We will take orders up to 4 pm on August 3rd, so we can then fulfill the orders for Saturday. Each box is $37 and includes the following:
Buttery Sweet Scone with Strawberry Jam Tart, and Fresh House-made Clotted Cream
Finger Sandwiches - Cucumber Dill (v), and Chicken Caprese or Mozzarella Caprese (v) on house-made mini ciabbata rolls
Coronation Quiche - Spinach and sharp cheddar, based on the recipe given by Windsor Castle in honor of the ascension of King Charles
House-made Quick Pickle Salad - The Celtic Tea Shoppe’s own recipe, featuring persian cucumbers, red bell peppers, red onion, and garlic (gently sour with a slightly sweet note)
Two macarons - assorted flavors, made by The Celtic Tea Shoppe
Millionaire’s Shortbread bar

The minimum number of tea boxes for us to make and deliver them is 25, so please order early and encourage your friends, too! We look forward to seeing you all at the picnic!
