From the Telegraph online of 13 March 2022: SALWEY Bryan David, Captain RN. Died on 19 February 2022 after a short illness. Dearly loved husband of Celia and much loved father of Roger, David, Nick and seven grandchildren. A Thanksgiving Service will be held on Friday 6 May at 11.30am at Holy Trinity, Beaumont Road, London... and afterwards at Winchester House.
He was s of Humphrey John SALWEY OBE 1900-85 scion of that gentry family of The Lodge and Lorna Mary 1899-1989 d of John Powys PENRUDDOCKE 1861-1941 scion of that gentry family f/o Compton Chamberlayne. He m 1962 Celia b 1940 d of Capt Sir Anthony Henry THOROLD 15th Bt RN 1903-99 and Jocelyn Elaine Laura HEATHCOTE-SMITH 1910-93 (2xgt gd of Sir John Wyldbore SMITH 2nd Bt 1770-1852), and had three sons as above.
