Excellent news! Does anyone know the current acreage of the said park?

According to Cahill (Who Owns Britain, pub 2000, page 254) the 8th
Baron Forester was the 3rd largest landowner in Shropshire with 7,500
acres. The family also had 12,000 acres in Zimbabwe - but it's
anyone's guess what's happened to that!

I shot there once; it's pretty vast. Weston Park (Lord Bradford) and
Aldenham Park (formerly Lord Acton, later the Thompson family and now,
I'm not sure) are situated nearby.

Thank you for your replies, it is always good to get some good solid
peerage facts, I had heard of the land in Zim, but as you say anyone's
guess.
