From the Times of 1 October 2010:
MR J M D PILE AND MISS N S COWIE ... is announced between Jonathan,
eldest son of Mr and Mrs Tim Pile, and Natalie, daughter of Mr and Mrs
Gordon Cowie, both families from Barnt Green, Worcestershire.
Jonathan Matthew Devereux (b 1981) is the elder son of Timothy Simon
Devereux PILE (b 1953, gs of Gen Sir Frederick Alfred PILE 2nd Bt GCB
MC (1884-1976)) and (Jean) Patricia Lynne THOMAS (b c1955 reg Q1
Wisbech).
Jonathan's gt uncle, the 3rd Bt, died on 1st November and was succ by
Jonathan's uncle (his father's elder brother). See earlier posting for
