Edward Lacy George NIGHTINGALE  Died 18th March in Eastleigh Care Home, Minehead aged 80 years. The funeral Service will take place in St Marys Church, Lynton on 7th May at 11am followed by Cremation at North Devon Crematorium at 3pm that day. The day will be a celebration of his life. Flowers welcome. Donations, if desired, will go to the Tall Ships Youth Trust and also the Jubilee Sailing Trust and may be sent via the funeral Director. Vernon Rush. 2 Bonds Row. Porlock. Minehead. Edward Lacy George NIGHTINGALE was the only son of Manners Percy NIGHTINGALE (1908 - 74), scion of the Baronets of that name (descended from the 11th Baronet), and Mary Ursula GILBERT (died 1983). Unm. No issue.

He was lately heir presumptive to the Baronetcy held by his kinsman, the 17th Baronet (born 1947) who is unm.   The new hp is a first cousin of the deceased, Thomas Lacy Manners (born 1947), married but no issue recorded. Following him would be another kinsman, Christopher George Manners (born 1949) who is m. with a son (born 1985)
