He was s of Robert Charles TABOR 1901-85 (who he succ. as) head of that gentry family of Little Codham Hall and Beryl Nora 1910-99 d of Arthur Cedric LEWIS c1875-1935 of Roche House, Rochford, Essex by his 27 July 1909 m (St Lawrence, Eastwood) to Nora Gertrude STALLIBRASS 1884-1967. He m 1968 Gillian d of John BUCKLEY of Ashdon Keynes, Wilts, and had issue:

1. CHRISTOPHER CHARLES ROBERT Tabor b 26 Sep 1970 (reg Q4 Southend) who succeeds his f as family head.
