Malcolm Chapple appears to be James Malcolm Dundas Chapple (1949-), and of Poundlands Farm, Frittenden; initially an apprentice and development engineer for British Airways (1969-74), having been educ. City Univ. London (B.Sc Air Transport Engineering), he was at One Essex Court 1977-98, and at New Square Chambers since. Can't locate a U.K. marriage record, nor is the electoral roll any help in this case as far as I can tell.

He only s. (there being also a dau.) of James Hugh Dundas Chapple (1912-1966), of Seaford, Sussex, Group Captain, R.A.F.V.R., and Edith Mary Louisa (1914-1974), dau. of - Wise [formerly wife of John D. Ginders].

J. H. D. Chapple s. of John Gardiner Chapple (1886-1972), of Lewisham [in the 1901 census, a bookbinder], and (m. 1912) Agnes A., dau. of - Dundas. His younger brother, John Gardiner Dundas Chapple (1914-2000) was Maj., R.A., M.B.E. (1943) T.D., a business consultant, appointed O.B.E. in 1972 for services to the textile industry.

J. G. Chapple s. of Thomas Gardiner [spellings vary in records; also 'Gardener', 'Gardner'] Chapple (1849-1918), of Camberwell, an undertaker's coachman, and Mary, dau. of - Farman.

Perhaps, Mrs Malcolm Chapple is from Norway/Scandinavia. Jorunn is a feminine Norwegian given name.

Hello Jelena, that fits with what I could find on 'Stokka', which seems to be several places in Norway (and presumably thus the origin of a surname); Annika's mother would appear to be named Hilde- the Telegraph announcement being placed by 'Hilde Chapple' strongly corroborates this, as does a Frittenden gardening society website.
