She was d of Alastair Douglas FYFE OBE 1902-74 of Riding Mill, Northumberland by his 1 June 1927 m (Jesmond) to Phyllis Mary 1900-79 d of Henry INGLEDEW 1861-1955 (solicitor) by his c1898 m reg Q1 Kent to Jenny Ethel FRAIN 1869-1962. She m 1960 Sir Edward Fairfax STUDD 4^th Bt b 1929 s of Sir Eric STUDD 2^nd Bt 1887-1975 and Kathleen Stephana 1895-1976 d of Lydstone Joseph LANGMEAD 1857-1931 by his 1891 m reg Q3 London to Lucy Stephana WALKER 1866-1954, and had two sons and a dau who are all married with issue. The notice mentions she was a gt gm, but there are no gt gc in the family’s DPB online article.
