From the Telegraph of 23 March 2021: FAIRBAIRN The Hon Mrs Elizabeth Mary died peacefully 18th March 2021 in Edinburgh. A wonderful mother to Charlotte, Anna & Francesca. Devoted grandmother to Jake, Clara, Lillianna, Natascha & Aeneas. A memorial concert will be held in Edinburgh in due course. No flowers please but donations to Live Music Now Scotland.
She was d of 13th Lord REAY 1905-63 and Charlotte Mary 1908-2000 d of William YOUNGER OF RAVENSWOOD 1857-1925 (bro of 1st Viscount YOUNGER OF LECKIE 1851-1929) and Katharine Theodora DUNDAS c1875-1961 scion of that Scots gentry family of Dundas. She m 1962 (div 1979) [later Sir] Nicholas Hardwick FAIRBAIRN OF FORDELL 1933-95 s of (William) Ronald Dodds FAIRBAIRN 1889-1964 and Mary Ann GORDON 1901-52, and had a son (Edward Nicholas b&d 1965) and four daus (incl Micheline Margaret Corinna 1963-64).
