Yorke-Long - The engagement is announced between Bobby, elder son of the Duke of Beaufort and Tracy, the Marchioness of Worcester, of Badminton, Gloucestershire, and Lucy, only daughter of Mr and Mrs Jonathan Yorke-Long, of Old Stratford, Northamptonshire.

Lucy Eleanor (b 1986) d of Jonathan Crispin YORKE-LONG (b Oct 1951) and Charlotte Rose FOWNES-LUTTRELL (b 1954), scion of the WILLIAMS cr 1915, HOOD & BATEMAN Bts etc etc.

So Lucy Yorke-Long and Bobby Worcester are tenth cousins...

 I wonder how closely related are his parents (the new Duke of Beaufort and his first wife Tracy Ward,  of the earls of Dudley)  or his paternal grandparents (the late 11th Duke and his first wife Lady Caroline Thynne, of the Marquesses of Bath).  The Thynne married into a variety of aristocratic families in the  past.

Can’t swear it’s their closest relationship, but his parents are 4th cousins by common descent from Sir Thomas Moncreiffe (7th Bt) & Louisa Hay-Drummond. Also 5th cousins (James Pattle & Adeline de l’Etang)

or his paternal grandparents (the late 11th Duke and his first wife Lady Caroline Thynne, of the Marquesses of Bath). 

Closest relationship I find is 8C1R by descent from Wriothesley Baptist Noel (2nd Earl of Gainsborough) & Katherine Greville.
