Yes he Is.. He is the Second Son of Charles James Fitzroy, 6th Lord
Southampton b. 1928 and his wife Pamela Anne Henniker who died in Feb.
1997.

Most newly engaged couples make do with a glass of bubbly, but the
Duke of Hamilton's nephew Brendan Douglas-Hamilton has chosen a rather
more adventurous way to celebrate his impending marriage - a road
trip across Europe.

For after winning the hand of pretty interior designer Fiona Fitzroy,
29, property developer Brendan, 34, has taken his fiancee on a 2,000-
mile journey to Corfu.

'They are driving because it's a nicer way to get there than flying,'
Fiona's mother Rachel tells me from her family's farm in Devon.

Edinburgh-based Brendan, formerly married to officer's daughter
Josephine de Chair, has dated Fiona for nearly two years and asked her
father Edward for permission to marry last weekend. The couple plan to
wed next year.

Hopefully, the trip will not be marred by Brendan's mixed road
history.

Five years ago, he was lucky to escape without serious injury after
being crushed by a Land Rover he was repairing."
