From the Telegraph of 14 July 2021: BIRTWISTLE Moya Lennox, died peacefully at home in Vancouver on 9th July, aged 103. Much loved wife of the late Richard and mother of Susie and Nigel, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was d of Percy Frederick BROWNE 1872-1959 (2xgt gs of 2nd Earl of ALTAMONT 1731-80 f of 1st Marquess of SLIGO 1756-1809) and Ruth Reynolds 1881-1957 d of John Reynolds WARREN of Natal, S. Africa. She m 1944 Richard Read 1916-83 s of Henry Haydock BIRTWISTLE 1883-1946 of Whalley, Lancs by his 1915 m reg Q3 Lancs to Mary 1886-1962 d of Alfred READ (solicitor), and had a dau (Susan (Susie) Lennox b 1947, m with issue) and ?a son Nigel (above), not found in the peerages or on bmd.
