_.Sir Charles Henry McLeod, 3rd Baronet has died (in December, 2012?) at the age of 88. He was born 7 Nov, 1924, 2nd son of Sir Murdoch Campbell McLeod, 2nd Bt, by his wife the former Annette Susan Mary Whitehead; succeeded to the baronetcy (cr UK, 1925) upon his father's demise, 21 Apr 1950; educated at Winchester; married 5 Jan 1957, (Anne) Gillian Bowlby (d 1978), scion of the Bowlby landed family and descended from the Viscounts Combermere, dau of Henry Russell Bowlby, by whom he had issue, one son and 2 daughters. Succeeded by his son, James Roderick Charles McLeod, b 26 Sept, 1960.
