He was s of Lt Robin John CLUTTON 1897-(14 March)1978 scion of that gentry family f/o Chorlton and Rosalie Muriel BIRCH 1898-(9 Nov)1978. He m first 1960 Anne Black 1936-1975 d of Hugh Black WEIR 1905-82 of Adisham, Kent by his 1935 m reg Q4 Kent to Mary WILSON 1910-2002, and had three daus. He m second 1988 Lady Sarah Margaret FITZALAN HOWARD 1941-2015 d of 16 Duke of NORFOLK KG GCVO GBE PC 1908-75 and Hon Lavinia Mary STRUTT LG CBE 1916-95 d of 3 Baron BELPER 1883-1956 by his 1 w a dau of 2 Baron ABERDARE 1851-1929 etc. No further issue.
