Widow of Gerard, and darling mother of Charlotte, Crispin & Laura, adored grandmother and great grandmother. She was d of Hon Angus Dudley CAMPBELL 1895-1967 (s of 1st Baron COLGRAIN 1866-1954 and Lady Angela Mary Alice RYDER 1863-1939 d of 4th Earl of HARROWBY 1836-1900) and Joan Esther Sybilla 1904-98 d of Col Hercules Arthur PAKENHAM 1863-1937 (gt gs of 2nd Baron LONGFORD 1743-92 (s of 1st Baron LONGFORD & The Countess of LONGFORD cr [I] 1785)) and Lillian Blanche Georgiana ASHLEY 1875-1939 (gd of 7th Earl of SHAFTESBURY KG 1801-85). She m 1954 Lt-Cdr Gerard St John Roden 1927-2008 s of Capt Roden Henry Victor BUXTON 1890-1990 (s of Sir Thomas Fowell BUXTON 4th Bt 1865-1919) and Dorothy Alina ST JOHN 1889-1956, and had a son (the present 8th Bt) and two daus as above.
