According to the Ampleforth Society the couple married in 2019. I sent a message to Debretts & they have updated the entry and have indicated that the couple had a son in 2020 RUARIDH MALCOLM FRASER B.2020. Harry is the son of Roderick Fraser (Lovat)  Georgina is the daughter of Malcolm Hay of Seton (Tweeddale) which unites these two families.

All the indications I have been able to find suggest that Mrs Hay's mother is the Deborah L ROUSE whose birth was registered in Q1 1955 in Carmarthen. She would appear to have a younger sister and two brothers (also younger than herself). The birth of the elder of her two brothers was registered in Petersfield, but the births of her two youngest siblings were registered on the Isle of Wight.

I also believe that the spelling of Mrs Hay's maternal grandfather's first name should be Derrick, rather than Derek, notwithstanding that a number of reputable sources, including Debrett's, use the latter spelling (see the entry in the London Gazette concerning the award of the MBE to Lt-Cdr Rouse at https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/46162/supplement/5/data.pdf). The marriage of Derrick Malcolm ROUSE (c.1921/2 - 18 II 2015) to Eileen Patricia ("Paddy") INGRAMS (c.1928/9 - 18 VIII 2021) was registered in Honiton in Q3 1952.

Thanks. I suppose it’s possible Mr Rouse’s preference is for Derek rather than the spelling given at birth
