Embraced to the end, February 10th, by her families of 3 generations. Funeral will be private. Then a Service of love, admiration and gratitude with much cherished music in April (tba) at St Mary’s, Bentworth and Burkham.

She was d of John Vincent SHEFFIELD (1913-2008, s of Sir Berkeley Digby George SHEFFIELD 6th Bt (1876-1946)) and Anne Margaret FAUDEL-PHILLIPS (1913-68, d of Sir Lionel Lawson Faudel FAUDEL-PHILLIPS 3rd Bt (1877-1941) and scion of the HUNTLY marquesses etc). She m 1966 David Mark (b 1941) s of Lt-Col Mark Richard NORMAN CBE (1910-93, scion of the gentry family of that name of St Clere and Moor Place and gs of 4th Earl of BRADFORD (1845-1915, who was gf of Princess ALICE Duchess of GLOUCESTER 1901-2004)), and Helen McGill d of Thomas Pinckney BRYAN (1882-1920) of Richmond, Virginia and Helen HAMILTON (1884-1967), and had a son and three daus.

From the Times of 2 March 2021: NORMAN Diana Anne. A service of thanksgiving will be held at Burkham on 14th May 2021 at 2.20pm. Due to the latest Covid and church gathering capacity restrictions, Diana’s ‘Special Service of Love and Admiration’ will now be held as private and family only....
