Mark Lewisohn is the eldest son of Oscar Max LEWISOHN (6 V 1938 - 18 III 2024) and his first wife (married 1962), Louisa Madeleine GRUNFELD (23 V 1937 - 2 XII 1985), who was the daughter of Henry GRUNFELD (1 VI 1904 - 10 VI 1999), co-founder of the merchant banking house of S G Warburg & Co.
