From the Telegraph of 18 Jan 2022: LOWTHER Will, on 11th January, aged 21 died unexpectedly, in hospital, surrounded by his loving family; Jim, Vanessa, Matilda, Ishbel and Flynn. Will was a beautiful soul who deeply touched everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him. A private burial this week will be followed, at a later date, by a celebration of his life.

He was son and heir of Hon James Nicholas LOWTHER b 4 Dec 1964 (s of 7th Earl of LONSDALE and heir presumptive to his half-brother the 9th Earl of LONSDALE b 1949.) Will's brother Flynn St George LOWTHER b 2005 (exact date unknown) is now his father's heir.
