Pélagie Jeanne Marie Marguerite Charlotte Natalie de MacMahon (b 24 June 1990), the daughter of Philippe de MacMahon, 4th Duc de Magenta and Hon. Amélie Margaret Mary Drummond (the daughter of Humphrey Drummond of Megginch and Jean Cherry Drummond, 11th of Megginch, Baroness Strange)

Prince Amaury Yves Michel Marie Joseph of Bourbon-Parma (b 30 October 1991), son of Prince Charles-Emmanuel Joseph Jacques Hély of Bourbon-Parma (b 3 June 1961), and Baroness Constance de Ravinel (b 18 July 1971).

They married on 3rd June 2023.

Wouldn't  Pélagie at least be a countess, being the daughter of a French duc?

No, only those that were created in the Holy Roman Empire, where some French noble families had such creations. The sons and younger branches are a different matter.

The MacMahon family[1] originated in Ireland and established itself in France, where it gained prominence.[2] John MacMahon, an Irish doctor born in Limerick, became naturalised in France in 1749 and married Charlotte Le Belin, Dame d'Éguilly, on 13 April 1750. That same year, King Louis XV of France created him Marquis d'Éguilly.[3] His son, the second Marquis, served in the American War of Independence, including on the frigate Aigle which the British captured on 15 September 1782.[4]

A grandson of the first Marquis, Patrice de MacMahon, served with distinction as a general in the Crimean War of 1853–56 and later in the Austro-Sardinian War of 1859, winning the Battle of Magenta on 4 June 1859. The following day Emperor Napoleon III created him Duc de Magenta. Later he became President of the French Republic, serving from 1873 to 1879.

Looking through the Gotha there are plenty of French ducal families where the comital is given to males, sons, brothers and uncles of the peer, titres de courtoisie. I can think of no Holy Roman French duc. There are from recollection some later French titles where the letters patent state only males are to bear the comital rank.
