From the Telegraph of 29 Sept 2022: NAYLOR-LEYLAND Jane. Out of the blue on 23rd September aged only 67. Beloved, perfect wife of David, adored mother to Victoria, John and Freddie, proud grandmother of George, and a great friend to so many. Private funeral, family only.
She was d of Lt-Col John Monsell CHRISTIAN MC TD 1911-74 sometime head of that gentry family f/o Milntown & Ewanrigg and his 2nd w Catherine b 1926 reg Q1 Hunts d of William Geoffrey BARFORD 1896-1976 of Harston Grange, Grantham by his 1922 m reg Q3 Herts to Christina Maud LYALL 1898-1975. She m 1978 David George Edward b 1955 s of Michael Montague George NAYLOR-LEYLAND 1926-2012 (s of Sir Albert Edward Herbert NAYLOR-LEYLAND 2nd Bt 1890-1952) and Jacqueline Marie Francoise FLOOR b c1931, and had two sons and a dau.
