Most Rev Timothy Radcliffe OP - Cardinal

Among the 21 new Cardinals announced by the Pope today is the Most Rev Timothy Peter Joseph Radcliffe OP b 1945, former Master General of the Order of Preachers (Dominicans).  He will be created a Cardinal at the Public Consistory to be held on 8 December 2024.

He is the son of Lt-Col Hugh John Reginald Joseph RADCLIFFE MBE (1911-1993), scion of the Radcliffe Baronets being the 2nd son of the 5th Bt, and (m 1937) Marie-Therese [Mariquita] PEREIRA (d 2003).

Per DPB Online, his oldest brother, MARK HUGH JOSEPH (B. 1938), is the hp to the baronetcy.

Although the present baronet probably has  a son -  RADCLIFFE, Hugh Everard B. b.2013 Q1 KENSINGTON & CHELSEA (mother's name LYNCH) NOT IN DPB (google.com).  The middle name Everard used by father and son seems too much of a coincidence even if there is another Radcliffe/Lynch marriage out there

I just checked the Kershaw list for July 2024 out of curiosity,  and they list Mark as hp as well.
